An Essex Salt Marsh

In August 2017 I visited my wife Gill's sister Janet and her partner Chris at their home overlooking a tidal creek off the estuary of the River Colne in Essex. This is truly the Essex that John Betjeman said few explored. The quality of light in the early morning and evening was amazing. Have a look at the gallery.
